Oil study of a black cat slowly advancing. 

This is a work done from a series of sketches of a black cat which popped through my patio doors one evening [on Black Friday...really!] while I was at my easel.

I loved the reflection of his form on my stone floor in the kitchen, and I wanted to capture this along with that special sense of calculated movement in this very agile little being, without any other distracting elements in the finished piece.
